Get ready for the first ever Amnesty Race Night!
City&Tower Hamlets Amnesty Group has organised this event to raise awareness of the plight of Mongolians that were arrested after political protests in 2008 and remain in prison. For more information go to AIUK website.
The first race will be at about 21.30 and last race is expected to be around 23.30. We expect to have six races.
From 23:30 onwards, until 3am we will have a DJ.
Dress code though optional is 'a day at the races' and we leave it to your imagination and sense of fun to make the most of the opportunity.
Winners receive an equal share of 50% of the take on the race split between the winning bets. The other 50% of funds raised on each race will go to Amnesty as part of our fundraising programme.
